THE NATCH CHALLENGE
30TH JULY 2011
HELD AT
SOUTHMEAD RUGBY CLUB
On Saturday 30th July, Southmead RFC hosted a 5-A- Side Football Tournament known as "The Natch Challenge".
This year saw 15 teams taking part in what was probably the best tournament in the history of the "Natch Challenge".
After 6 hours of 5-A-Side football in the scorching sun the "Simpsons" were crowned the champions and presented with a large cup and a case of Natch, SRFC were the plate winners. Another cup was awarded to Paddy Dorney's "Wednesday Friendship Club" for their excellent performance and enthusiasm .
A massive "Thank You" must go to Leon Oakes, Archie and Danny Daly for refereeing the whole tournament and also to Skinner Oakes for organising it.
There was a great atmosphere all day with everyone enjoying the football and the barbeque, and when the presentation was over there was an outdoor disco and karaoke which was also a great success .
In 2012 we hope to make the "Natch Challenge" an even bigger event and also hope to have some female teams taking part.
Thanks to all those who participated to make this such a great day. We look forward too seeing you all again next year.
SRFC.
